Why FreelanceForge
A drafting tool. Not an automation tool.
FreelanceForge exists to remove the blank-page friction of writing a tailored proposal — without taking control of your Upwork account, your voice, or your client relationship. Drafts only. Follow-ups on a leash. Every sending decision stays with you.
Mission
Better proposals, in less time — without making them sound like everyone else's.
Generic template proposals get ignored. Hand-written ones take twenty minutes each. FreelanceForge sits in the middle: it reads the brief, drafts a response tuned to it, and hands you a starting point you can edit until it sounds like you. The relationship with the client still belongs to you — the speed belongs to the tool.
Approach
Four principles that shape every feature we ship.
The proposal generator reads a public Upwork job URL and writes a tailored 150–200 word draft. You copy it, edit it until it sounds like you, and submit it yourself through your own Upwork account.
We never ask for your Upwork credentials, never connect to your account, never submit on your behalf, and never scan listings for you. The generator works on public URLs only — no scraping, no API tokens, no harvested data.
After you save a proposal, up to two low-pressure follow-ups get drafted — a soft nudge around day 4 and a softer check-in around day 10. You copy each draft into your own email client and click “Mark as sent” yourself.
FreelanceForge will not propose a price for you, raise your bid, or apply to jobs on a schedule. Pricing stays in your hands; the tool simply removes the blank-page friction.
What FreelanceForge is not
Clearer about what we are not than what we are.
If any of these describe the tool you're looking for, FreelanceForge is not it — and we'd rather you know now than discover it after signup.
- An Upwork automation tool — there is no scheduled agent running on your account.
- A lead-generation scraper — we do not crawl Upwork, rank postings, or mine client contacts.
- A proposal-spinner — every draft is written for the specific brief, not a template with keywords swapped in.
- A reply-handling assistant — once a client responds, follow-ups pause. You take the conversation from there.
